When the Founders wrote the Second Amendment, the largest guns they had were muskets. The modern bullet had not yet been invented. They could only shoot one bullet at a time. Today’s assault weapon would be like the power of a cannon to them. The Second Amendment is NOT a legitimate reason not to ban assault weapons. Ban them now.

On the same scale - you just posted free speech (1st amendment) on a global social media site using an electronic device. Thus, Ben Franklin must have posted all about this on his blog site "The Farmers Almanac" using his iPhone or... The tech may change - but the rights stay the same.
