When the Founders wrote the Second Amendment, the largest guns they had were muskets. The modern bullet had not yet been invented. They could only shoot one bullet at a time. Today’s assault weapon would be like the power of a cannon to them. The Second Amendment is NOT a legitimate reason not to ban assault weapons. Ban them now.

The Puckle gun (also known as the defense gun) was a revolver patented in 1718 by James Puckle (1667–1724), a British inventor, lawyer and writer. It was one of the earliest weapons to be referred to as a "machine gun."

Ever hear of Grape Shot, yeah that was a common cannon round from the same period, that would do a whole lot more damage than a AR

I saw one tweet of yours that made sense and had a glimmer of hope. But here you are... being the cookie cutter dry ass talking points that are pure platitudes. The Dems had the house 2 years and didn't do anything. What's 1 way you're unique from the lockstep democrats?

Funny you mention cannon, since cannons were in fact included under the 2nd Amendment, as shown through verified correspondence. But, go on with this uneducated comparison (or maybe edit it out, I don't know)
