1/3 of American workers live on less than $15 an hour. 68,000 people die in America every year from lack of healthcare. America’s poverty rate is higher than in any other advanced democracy. None of that is necessary. And none of it is excusable.
The minimum wage is still $7.25 in 20 states.

The Democrats/Republicans are the gate keepers and property of the rich and corporations. You cannot count on them. I propose a minimum wage package for American workers. Fought for by workers. We would use public pressure, work slow downs etc.. jahahughes.com/post/a-living…

If we keep the US at a $7.25 minimum wage for another 12 years, then hiring employees in poorer parts of the US will be about the same labor cost of workers in China.

This is because of the corrupt neoliberal corporatist Democrats and how they sold out the working class in the 90s. If you aren't willing to call them out for their worship of Reagan and his policies over the last 50 years, please stop pretending to care about these issues.

Eisenhower era progressive tax rate structure. Now. We had a healthy middle class then, and there were wealthy people as well. The income and wealthy inequality at that time was not so obscene then as well.

Min wage should be $25 but we have been hosed for to long.
