Transgender people are not a danger to our democracy. Books in libraries and free speech are not a danger to our democracy. Scholars and teachers are not a danger to our democracy. The fascists who try to control them; they are the ones who are a danger to our democracy.

Those who try to control speech, mostly within our own government, exactly. Trans individuals are not a threat but the Trans movement is when it harangues and threatens violence on those who disagree with exposing children to hyper sexualization, etc.

No one is saying "transgender people" are a danger. The danger is "gender identity ideology." A regressive belief system that denies objective reality & poses a very real threat to the hard won rights of other vulnerable groups. Specifically women, gays & lesbians.
