Exactly right.
People that work 40 hours per week shouldn’t have to rely on food stamps just to make ends meet. Their employers should be paying them a living wage.

Wish there was a way to bring the cost of living down. Isnt it just a vicious cycle, employers pay more, then to make up for the lost profits, cost of living goes up? Or is that completely wrong?

As small business owner I'll raise the wages and the prices to afford the increase. Then I'll lose customers to the illegals who don't pay a living wage or health benefits or matching social security or medicare taxes.

So 2 years ago they were ask for. $15 minimum wage, in NY, people have now gotten $15, but with inflation it’s not enough so now they’re ask for $20. Once that cost gets baked in to employers costs, prices will not go down.

Then everything else would have to go up proportionally. Doctors would make millions of dollars, anybody that has a degree their wages would have to go up that same amount proportionately. Nobody would be able to buy anything.
