She's starting to get on my nerves using rhetoric like this and doing everything she can to avoid talking about UBI.
Economic anxiety has burdened the American people for too long. Time to remove all the unnecessary stress.

UBI is good; I never said it wasn't. It doesn't solve the underlying problems of an unjust economic system, but as a measure to help people get past the immediate crisis of economic insecurity I'm very open to it.

It does, though. It’s essential for solving the underlying problems, and that’s why Randolph, Rustin, and King made the guaranteed income a central tenet of their Freedom Budget. Especially now with AI hurtling forward at breakneck speed, we need UBI. youtube.com/RiXPsHe8UkI

And if you think it’s good, please add it to your platform. It’s the best way to relieve financial distress. You shouldn’t just be open to it; it should be an integral part of your platform.

I contend that this approach goes beyond being a mere temporary solution or a means to address short-term problems. As artificial intelligence and automation continue to transform the labor landscape in our nation, it is crucial that we strategically utilize these advancements in the long run. This will enable us to transition towards more inventive job prospects, liberate our citizens for increased civic engagement, and allow them the time and resources to actively participate in volunteer work and family life
I want to let you know that I'm still fully supportive of your campaign and would be happy to vote for you. I know you support UBI and believe that if a well-crafted UBI bill were to land on your desk, you would sign it into law. While I understand that when running for president you need to prioritize policies, many of us would love to see UBI included in your core platform. However, I also recognize that there are still many people in our country who are unfamiliar with UBI and its cost, and this could make it challenging to promote the policy during the campaign. Therefore, from a strategic standpoint, I can understand the desire to win the election first and then have the opportunity to discuss UBI in more detail afterward, rather than risking your opponents using disinformation and anti-UBI campaigns to undermine your chances of winning.

UBI does shoulder quite a bit of the load of fixing our unjust economic system. It's more than just economic security. The unconditionality of it is hugely empowering. It gives everyone the power to say no until their demands are met. It makes general strikes actually possible.

What will solve the "unjust economic system"?

I don’t think any major popular policy “solves the underlying problems of an unjust system”. Policies are amendments to our markets and institutions. Universal healthcare doesn’t solve the inequality problem, though it may help it - UBI does similar and more in provable ways

Bitcoin and crypto solve the underlying problems imvho and also a legit delivery device for UBI like $ubi @proofofhumanity
UBI is not just a short-term measure but a long-term solution that empowers individuals and addresses systemic economic injustice. UBI is crucial to ensure that everyone can meet their needs & participate in the economy, especially as automation and AI displaces millions of jobs.
