The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change now says Earth will likely cross the threshold beyond which it can’t avoid catastrophic climate change within the next 10 yrs unless we rapidly stop burning fossil fuels. We need an emergency level mobilization for a just transition from a dirty economy to a clean economy. This is not the time to ramp up fossil fuel extraction with more oil drilling like the Willow Project; it’s time to ramp it down.

The United States has no leadership, nothing can be done to stop global warming.

We don’t trust or believe these reports. We should never give our sovereignty to a global agency. #AmericaFirst

Why aren't all the climate doomsayers out planting trees, FOCUSING on doing what could help. Mass organization of planting trees..They give no actual scientific evidence from those that are experts. They fly around in jets and proclaim to the world doom so they can insite fear..

Respectfully, have you people actually sat down and calculated the possibilities and implications of what you advocate? Have you done any critical analysis of this report?

Let me continue, if true, some “emergency level mobilization for a just transition” is the ultimate hyperbole. Firstly, you can toss out “just” because such a transition would likely be impossible let alone “just”. The only two variables that can transition us in the magnitude necessary to come off hydrocarbons in 10 years are population and income; both would have to be drastically reduced. Any assertion which fails to state this is simply bullshit. You are advocating for an utterly totalitarian, centrally planned, domination of every human on Earth. Own it or shut up.
