With the U.S. already at the highest level of poverty in advanced democracies, we're dropping 15 million people from medicaid and 30 million from SNAP benefits this week. It’s not just economic poverty staring us in the face. It's moral poverty staring at us in the mirror.

Stop selling SNAP. We have enough food. Make a general food plan so every American can afford simple organic foods—ideally rerouting some meat subsidies to organic produce—let everyone eat. Let fancy people make their own choices
