With the U.S. already at the highest level of poverty in advanced democracies, we're dropping 15 million people from medicaid and 30 million from SNAP benefits this week. It’s not just economic poverty staring us in the face. It's moral poverty staring at us in the mirror.

I’ve been ashamed of this government since I was a teenager, because I actually believed we the people elected it. Now that I know it’s appointed by the rot at the top, I can stop blaming myself, and look for actual solutions.

need to first take care of people & environment. After that we see how much money is left to fund the ever-bloating military complex. Yet simultaneously we could ask why America does not seek peace before war? We can solve the global war problems with a peacebuilding policiy.

Did you know that those left jobless/many who can't work don't qualify for Medicaid and food stamps? (Lack home address, phone, etc.) Or that millions of seniors rely on Medicaid for prescription coverage?
