With the U.S. already at the highest level of poverty in advanced democracies, we're dropping 15 million people from medicaid and 30 million from SNAP benefits this week. It’s not just economic poverty staring us in the face. It's moral poverty staring at us in the mirror.

I agree. Still, it's insufficient to means-test relief from poverty symptoms, nor is it enough to provide jobs as refuges from poverty. Poverty must be abolished. Please add Universal Basic Income to your platform, as you did last time. We need #UBI; lives are on the line.

Please consider that the capital gains tax break is a handout for the wealthy. It says if you trade your time for money you're taxed more than double than trading money for money
