We are a Republic of states. Like 50 little countries that agreed to ban together and create a very limited federal government to serve us. If we had that as designed, it would be better.
More billionaires too !!!
Because poverty is a made up abstract by bureaucrats, you can reduce it simply by lowering the poverty level. It’s the same way it’s defined, varies from country to country.
The US has the largest income inequality in the world. It also has the most deeply-held belief in capitalism, and the most irrational fear of socialism. America proves the maxim that for there to be rich people there have to be poor people.
lets stop the tax deduction for religions and audit the preachers
Did you actually post a link to someone telling US what it's like to be poor? You really are clueless.
What is your plan to fight for the 39 million in poverty in America? All you millionaires do it talk!! Your millions show you have no connection to regular Americans living paycheck to paycheck and suffering in poverty. Here is my plan. jahahughes.com/post/poverty

🧵 Let me preface my new thread by saying I am not a professor, a political scientist or psychologist. Just a layman, a simple person looking at the socio-economic situation breeding distrust in US. No discussion of Overton window or Hagelian dialectics, just a humble prayer...
Compare it to non-democratic regimes like we're trying so desperately to turn into.
