What are the effects of trauma financially? A person weighted down, chained to a nervous system full of insecurity and fear, an empty glass, depressed and deprived. Are there any solutions? Please American ego, don't turn away in dismay and disgust!

Impoverished Americans have access to housing assistance, food stamps, and healthcare. You wanting to expand social programs has nothing to do with the poor & everything to do with the middle class. If that’s your position, that’s fine. Just own it & stop hiding behind the poor.

The United States is is a representative republic with a federalist style government..not a democracy & our poor are wealthy compared to the rest of the world. That being said, the experience of poverty here is worse than poorer countries & due to cultural & spiritual lack.
