But then there are ways we can engage in carbon sequestration, that don't require sacrificing our modern industry. But, if we continue to let countries like China and India be the manufacturing hubs, you won't see that, at least not in our lifetimes.
Exxon had an internal study in the late 70s, that they buried, and another in the early 80s. They knew, and chose the spend billions on propaganda instead of transitioning to clean energy that they still could've profited from. Companies think 3 months ahead in quarterly profits.
