companies are free to spend their money in whatever way they feel is to their best advantage. the process may yield benefits for workers if the result is better wages and improved working conditions. Congress writes the tax laws so if it needs to stop then change the law.

Laws make it stop. Thoughts and prayers don't. Strong labor laws like we used to have. Like other countries have. Make collective bargaining a Constitutional right, like in other countries. Industry contracts like other countries have, written into law. No need to invent it.
