Marianne’s book might be the best presidential campaign book ever: a smart sense of history, our democratic crisis, and what needs doing. I knew little of her before I read it, but when I did so to join her on her podcast, I was truly impressed. Pick it up/ read it!

"Self-help" is associated with women and thus stigmatized (although I once met an Uber driver & heavy metal singer in his 20s who said it's his favorite genre). The idea is to sneer at authors of books that help people in some way. (Sigh.) Always pisses me off.

I have followed your work for decades starting with Course Of Miracles ... It has been consistently focused on how we serve each other and the planet. That's as real as it gets.

No, it simply boils your qualifications down, since your resume is a little thin. 🚩 No college degree 🚩No Actual work experience 🚩No successful leadership experience

“Self-help” is some of the most important writing. That they think such writing is inconsequential says a lot about them…
