Reversible, but not in many cases. Cancer or bleeding is in adults and even then it often sterilizes the adult. But what about cutting off perfectly healthy genitals of children do you support?
Personal belief is that it can create confusion at such a young age, which would fix itself during puberty. Decisions about sexual identity should not be made prior to a child going through that stage.
