That’s like saying if you want traffic laws, you are an enemy of driving. That’s it. That’s the tweet.
If you want to ban AR-15s, you are an enemy of the Second Amendment. That’s it. That’s the tweet.

Just ban all guns! THEN NO ONE WILL HAVE THEM! And THEN NO COPS WILL NEED THEM EITHER, RIGHT?! AMIRITE?!?!

It's a bad analogy, because there's no constitutional amendment for an individual's right to drive. It might be slightly better if you had said, "If you want to ban cars -- but only the ones that look scary, not the ones that get into accidents -- you're an enemy of driving."

There is a big difference between regulating how something can be used, and trying to outlaw having one. There are already laws against shooting people with an AR-15 (or any other gun). There are perfectly legitimate ways to have one and use it for legitimate reasons.
Today, I’ve decided to escalate my ironical caring about gun violence in schools while I continue to spread Covid to kids and teachers. #ironicalisticalyspeaking

Traffic laws and driving a car are not part of the 2nd amendment. The right to bear arms is the law and also legal. Driving a car is a privilege and not a right.
