SCOTUS upholds Donziger conviction. Gorsuch dissented: “Our Constitution does not tolerate what happened here.” But a corporatist Supreme Court is there to serve corporations more than to serve the Constitution. That’s why ELECTIONS MATTER.

Looove Gorsuch. Ya’ll call him a con. He’s not. That dude overturned decades of precedent to allow reservations to be involved in & run fed cases on their land. Maybe constitutionalism isn’t your devil?

“Elections matter” except it’s the same guy either way because everyone else has no shot

You had me right up until "elections matter". Politics are theater meant to give the illusion of choice and democracy. Both parties serve only the corporatocracy.

Elections matter? Duh. And if the DNC ran good candidates instead of blatant corporate sellout whores the Dems would win the presidency and both houses every time. Don’t blame voters for DC corruption - we aren’t as stupid as they (and you, apparently) think.

The two dissenters coming to Donziger's side were Republicans, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Both were appointed by Trump. Using this example as ELECTIONS MATTER won't make the case you think it does.

Supreme Court has hit bottom and now does nothing but bump along the grimy fundament.

BOTH parties nominate judges that support corporatism. That's why elections should never be about the Supreme Court.

Kavanaugh also dissented. 2 justices appointed by Trump.

This is why political corruption matters. Giving people two terrible, curated options and then telling them it's their fault when bad things happen is ridiculous. Start treating political corruption as treason against the American people and watch the cockroaches scurry.
