Human beings are social animals. What brings us together is love and affection—anger drives us apart. Just as we employ physical hygiene to protect our health, we must use ‘emotional hygiene’ to tackle our destructive emotions and achieve peace of mind.

It’s not kooky but powerful because @DalaiLama walks the talk, even towards the Chinese who are destroying Tibet. Otherwise, those words ring hollow.

@DalaiLama Human beings are spiritual beings by default. So are animals. What do all true religions have in common? The Creator. Greed of mankind distorted a lot of teachings.
