Is it kooky if he says it?
Human beings are social animals. What brings us together is love and affection—anger drives us apart. Just as we employ physical hygiene to protect our health, we must use ‘emotional hygiene’ to tackle our destructive emotions and achieve peace of mind.

@DalaiLama can say it because it's everything he practices; if elected, you're gonna assert these mantras while touring missile silos and traveling with a nuclear football and launch codes. There's no reconciling spiritual mindfulness with nuclear brinksmanship.

You're part of the democratic party which is part of the establishment. How do you think that helps? You're going to bow out, endorse Biden, and get many people to vote for the same hatred. After they've been doing this for decades. What really changes?

And guess what!? Like you, the Dalai Lama has always been pro science and engaged in scientific discovery while also calling out corporate greed. Never back down Marianne!

No, it's not kooky when the Daila Lama says it. It also is not kooky when Jesus said "Love others as I have loved you" or when He died on the cross & resurrected so that we are forgiven & gifted with the choice to Follow Him in love and unity. 🙏
