This country is actually sliding backwards, diminishing rather than expanding the rights of Americans. It’s unbelievable that in 2023 we’re actually having to defend child labor laws against encroachment by corporate tyrants. But we are. And we must.

@Marwilliamson is right, but something’s amiss. The fact it needed to be said that “the country is sliding backwards” is an expression of the failure of Economic science. Social backsliding shouldn’t surprise anyone—we should all expect this repeating pattern.

I cannot believe this tweet has 60k views but less than two hundred retweets and hardly any likes for the views. REALLY?
Children should not be working. They should be in school learning the truth about our history, all of our history.

this the typical reactionary response from the spiritually Neanderthal left. Lame stream media repeats like robot and you Marianne repeat like a mocking bird. You have no idea what's really going on. Maybe ask your friend Oprah.

A country which has not reconciled its darkest history can’t move forward. We are stuck in the slave mindset and it will nvr heal because white people are holding onto to false power born from Black women’s free labor and sacrifice of our children for hundreds of years. Cursed
