Rosa Parks… Anytime they try to hide her story from our children, we should commit to telling it. She was brave, she was stalwart, and she was kind. She also helped change the world.
During debate for the GOP’s book banning bill (“parent’s bill of rights”), @AOC holds up books banned by republican legislatures and districts. One of the books—The Life of Rosa Parks—was banned in Florida.

She was also a light skinned plant. The story was fabricated for her. The true story happened to a darker skinned woman.

You understand that wasn't really even her story right? And the woman that originally refused to get up from her seat was actually angry due to the fact that the NAACP and Parks acted like she never existed.

Interesting thread. I live in Florida and now I'm totally confused what happened with The Life of Rosa Parks. I don't have kids, so I don't normally pay attention to the board of education.

Whos they and when/where are they hiding her story? In this case the publisher pulled the book based on their interpretation of the statute. Have to question their motive. So no hiding. C'mon Marianne, I'm rooting for you but this bandwagon approach isnt gonna get you elected.

Will you change politics by not supporting Biden if you lose? Tell people to vote their best to interest? Or will you be the stooge and follow Biden as ordered?

Was this before or after you lost your temper through a chair at her?
