Oh, terrific, does this mean you’ll be imprisoning Asian Americans without due process again if you’re elected President?

I’m also aware that Roosevelt turned back boats with Jews trying to escape Hitler that should not have been turned back. And more. There were quite a few things he did that we would criticize today. But life isn’t simple. We need to look at historical figures in the context of the entirety of their contribution. And his was huge.

Apparently, you've never read US v. Korematsu. Did you know that case has been cited as "good law" only once? At the Nuremberg Trials. BY THE NAZIS.

You don’t get to pick and choose when you call yourself an FDR Democrat. You get the warts too.

Wow, racism, sexism, antisemitism, "redlining", Japanese internment camps, Native American internment camps, but do go ahead and tell me how great FDR was for white people.

Yeah who knew turning back people to be slaughtered was bad. It must have just been the times. How dare we question that?

The New Deal also specifically excluded Black Americans from benefiting from many, if not most, economic aid programs. You cannot win the Democratic nomination without Black voters. So, please, continue lionizing FDR. washingtonpost.com/opinions/…

I believe that he faced criticism then too, even if just from his wife. Eleanor Roosevelt was a far better person than FDR.

Go back to huffing crystal juice, because you will NEVER be President.
