Think how women in Afghanistan resist layers of oppression few of us can even imagine. Think how women in Iran resist layers of oppression few of us can even imagine. Think how our world will change when the women of America summon even a fraction of their courage.

Summon courage, and do what? And how does one summon courage? Is there a spell? If we can release all Afghani and Iranian women with just a summons, tell how. Let's get it done!

I think you are confusing resistance and conformity. Most women in those countries conform to their society. A few women really break through put it all on the line. And yes American women don't have that; Neo Feminism condemns it.

Just stop for a moment and think, women in America don’t have to exhibit as much courage as women in Iran and Afghanistan because the conditions you live in are so very much better. Have some gratitude for the society you live in.
