A government should not be guided by the priorities of corporate interests; it should be guided by the priorities of a healthy family. First you make sure your kids are OK, that they are fed and healthy and educated and safe. Then you make sure your home is OK, which for society means the earth on which we live. Then you make sure we take care of each other. Only when we shift our priorities from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line will we end the self-destructive trajectory by which we destroy lives and even the earth itself with such irresponsibility and reckless abandon.

The planet, Mother Earth, is self sustaining. ‘Should’ is a word of judgement. The “fed and healthy and educated and safe” part is really the only true JOB of government; and those duties extend past the 18 years of childhood. I thought you were “woo woo”? #AcourseinMiracles

It’s absolutely awe-inspiring how much automobile traffic is back on our roadway’s, and .. at what cost ?? People are either totally unaware, uninformed, or unwilling to wake up to the fact that the world is in crisis, and our rampant over-consumption is the cause. Status quo NO!

I was a card-carrying R from 1984-2010 when I woke up and realized D&R are both sides of the same corrupt coin. Anyone who begins a sentence with “government shouldn’t” followed with “Government should” is all about government power to control others
