A government should not be guided by the priorities of corporate interests; it should be guided by the priorities of a healthy family. First you make sure your kids are OK, that they are fed and healthy and educated and safe. Then you make sure your home is OK, which for society means the earth on which we live. Then you make sure we take care of each other. Only when we shift our priorities from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line will we end the self-destructive trajectory by which we destroy lives and even the earth itself with such irresponsibility and reckless abandon.

You don't need government for any of that.

Where does one think the money comes from in order to any of that? From corporate interests.

I'm going to vote for you because of the first sentence in your tweet. Everything after the first sentence is problematic for me however.

The fastest path to the lowest carbon is still to pick the low hanging fruit (mandate hybrids and heat pumps), from a position of strength (peace and low fossil fuel prices). It would also help greatly to reestablish Swanson's Law, by ending the polysilicon bottleneck.
