It's more complicated than that, the AR-15 is a mediocre weapon; it's the Toyota Camry of rifles. There are more threatening weapons ready to take it's place. The Army is switching to the XM7, now sold commercially as the Sig MCX Spear. Please look deeply into firearms policy!
