I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be in your Twenties and carry tens of thousands of dollars of college loan debt. And we wonder where the mental health crisis comes from? Economic anxiety is a pit of despair. Every American should realize that college and public universities were tuition free up until the mid-1960s. Unfettered capitalism is ravenous in its search for a profit center, even if it emerges from or causes human suffering. How dare we tell young people they should have respect for capitalism when they. have. no. capital! None of this will change until we change it. #ANewBeginning

10鈥檚 of thousands? Some have that in car loans!! Maybe high car payments are the reason for these kids losing their minds!

Don't stop at student Debt. Imagine how people feel with college degrees that will soon be replaced by Ai. Or millenials and younger generations working their butts off only to have the federal reserve inflate their purchasing power away.

Those deadbeats will probably want to buy a home some day. Do they have an obligation to repay THAT lender or do we get to bail them out of their mortgage as well?

Me neither. so maybe these youngens should not take on the debt.

Imagine being in your twenties without a college degree because you worked hard at a trade while the other kids from highschool got drunk and looked down on your for 4 years. Then finding out they were getting money and you鈥檙e not. That鈥檒l cause some mental health issues

That's not surprising since you can't imagine that your brain does NOT control hurricanes marianne. FYI - the 1960's ended more than 5 decades ago, get over it. You should realize that colleges are sitting on large endowments and keep raising costs beyond the rate of inflation.

You cannot be serious. Perhaps the mental health crisis is a result of what they're indoctrinated with in college.

Then don鈥檛 take out that loan

Maybe you should not incur college debt if you can't pay it back. Why does the American taxpayer have to pay off the debt of another person? If you want to erase debt, order the lenders to erase the debt, but not force the taxpayer to pick up the tab
