I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be in your Twenties and carry tens of thousands of dollars of college loan debt. And we wonder where the mental health crisis comes from? Economic anxiety is a pit of despair. Every American should realize that college and public universities were tuition free up until the mid-1960s. Unfettered capitalism is ravenous in its search for a profit center, even if it emerges from or causes human suffering. How dare we tell young people they should have respect for capitalism when they. have. no. capital! None of this will change until we change it. #ANewBeginning

Orb lady has serious critiques of school debt. It’s not a waste of time. Orb lady will be our first woman president!

What does knife crime have to do with the economy? @MazzucatoM tells @krishgm: “If you defund all the social fabric, you get all sorts of social problems”. In 2010 the government said cuts were needed to "deal with our country's debts" and "give confidence to our economy.”

Cut Professor salaries in half for starters! And get rid of the dead weight in the College Administration! Lower the indecent tuition rates!

Imagine recognizing a real problem. Then try 2 gaslight people into believing u care about the problem, but u reveal yourself by making up BS excuses as 2 why the problem exists. When if u really cared u'd spend the time looking for systemic issues, like Fed Student loan program.

it should have been easy for anyone who read the loan agreement terms to imagine what the debt would be. bankrolling college with guaranteed federal funding does nothing to incentivize colleges to control their costs. we should aim to make it less necessary, not more accessible

It's like starting life trying to work your way to a touch down, but you were forced to start in the opposing team's in-zone.

You can't? I can. A poor kid from a poor immigrant family, I've taken on over $100,000 in student loans. After graduating with my final degree, I bought a cheap car, ate dinners at home & stayed frugal until I paid it off. You silver spoon kids think it's impossible, it's not.

Everyone is in an economic crisis with debt. They knew what they were getting into when they signed up for college, just like everyone else that has any debt, what make them more special than the rest of us who have to pay debt off
