I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be in your Twenties and carry tens of thousands of dollars of college loan debt. And we wonder where the mental health crisis comes from? Economic anxiety is a pit of despair. Every American should realize that college and public universities were tuition free up until the mid-1960s. Unfettered capitalism is ravenous in its search for a profit center, even if it emerges from or causes human suffering. How dare we tell young people they should have respect for capitalism when they. have. no. capital! None of this will change until we change it. #ANewBeginning

If you take out a loan pay it back.

Who made them take out a student loan? I didn't, did you? There are also people struggling with credit care debt. You want to forgive that too? What about mortgages? Where do you draw the line?

The problem can only be solved by ridding universities & colleges of their excessive administrative positions. A better solution is to have the schools that gouged these students pay the debt or a portion of it. The students have responsibility too for taking on the debt.

I know Malibu, where you are from. Many nice small businesses, stores, shops. This is all "capitalism". What evil are these store owners engaged in that you would rail against them? These big scandals in markets most all can be traced back to big gov.

Yes get the big schools to pay for their grift.

Ms. Ass told me yesterday of a woman who told her about her son getting a PhD in metaphysics. I guarantee he borrowed many 10's of thousands of dollars for a degree with no return on investment. It is their own fault.

I can’t imagine why it would be like to be responsible for@your actions and loans. Oh wait I do. Cause I paid mine.
