I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be in your Twenties and carry tens of thousands of dollars of college loan debt. And we wonder where the mental health crisis comes from? Economic anxiety is a pit of despair. Every American should realize that college and public universities were tuition free up until the mid-1960s. Unfettered capitalism is ravenous in its search for a profit center, even if it emerges from or causes human suffering. How dare we tell young people they should have respect for capitalism when they. have. no. capital! None of this will change until we change it. #ANewBeginning

I recommend every registered Democrat be taxed an additional 5% on their weekly payroll taxes to pay these poor little kids debt, since you believe it's fair.

I know right!? And yet, you鈥檙e still gonna run for president even though you have zero chance, get a lot of politically illiterate people excited about your stupid vanity project, & then when you inevitably lose the primaries you鈥檙e gonna tell us to vote for the people causing it

Well that would first require having a college degree ! Isn鈥檛 it true you do not have one ?

it's a hot debate. the best solution? how about... we forgive the compounded interest and the borrower agrees to pay the amount they borrowed. for folks whose already paid their principle, nothing more is owed. tax write off for overpayments. win/win
