I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be in your Twenties and carry tens of thousands of dollars of college loan debt. And we wonder where the mental health crisis comes from? Economic anxiety is a pit of despair. Every American should realize that college and public universities were tuition free up until the mid-1960s. Unfettered capitalism is ravenous in its search for a profit center, even if it emerges from or causes human suffering. How dare we tell young people they should have respect for capitalism when they. have. no. capital! None of this will change until we change it. #ANewBeginning

No one forced me to go. I literally applied to the school and said “please let me come I’ll throw bread”

I worked full time in the evenings 4:00 - 12:00 midnight to pay for tuition and living expenses and graduate in 1971….where can I get my refund for my tuition? If your going to say something research it and tell the truth….profit pays wages….loss pays nothing.

Could instead be because politicians like yourself see people as tools for your gain? War/bombing countries, and locking indigenous kids in cages isn’t a bigger problem for mental health than someone’s irresponsible decision to pay a corporation for a degree they can’t use?!

Well, when they signed the paper, the dollar figure was on it.

Cost of college is the problem…no one talks about that

It sucks to be in your forties and have tens of thousands in debt 😭.

this is because people like you and I'm being sincere with this have brainwashed young people to believe that they needed a college degree. our system is so fascist that we literally require people to go into debt to maintain a standard of living we are fascist not capitalist

It's called debt slavery
