I cannot even imagine what it would be like to be in your Twenties and carry tens of thousands of dollars of college loan debt. And we wonder where the mental health crisis comes from? Economic anxiety is a pit of despair. Every American should realize that college and public universities were tuition free up until the mid-1960s. Unfettered capitalism is ravenous in its search for a profit center, even if it emerges from or causes human suffering. How dare we tell young people they should have respect for capitalism when they. have. no. capital! None of this will change until we change it. #ANewBeginning

The Republicans saw that fact and Social Security, and health care as precursors of Communism and until this day in 2023 want to limit these from the people.

Lived it. Now in my 30’s and still living it. It’s fucking hell. The Republicans are downright cruel to block loan forgiveness. They’re evil to want their own children to be debt slaves.

The more available you make college money, the more colleges will tuition gauge. Student who can get jobs that pay enough to pay off their student debt should sue their colleges for selling them worthless degrees.
