Given that 1/3 of working Americans live on less than $15 an hour, taking away food stamp benefits is cruel. The system is increasingly violent in its willingness to squeeze every penny from those who don’t have and pour endless largess onto those who do.

The system conjures up tremendous amounts of anxiety and nervousness for people seeking support. Though impossible to prove, the designed psychological deterrents keep people in painful predicaments. Then judgmental free market zealots preach “Get a job!” and “Grow up!”

Biden tanking the economy has hurt ppl. Low income larger families received a significant boost that is ending. A vibrant economy would boost good jobs and decrease reliance on gov’t programs. The ”system” is run by rich elites who don’t care about others, only power.

I'm not saying people shouldn't have short time help, but these continued benefits subsidize businesses from paying better. Also, in some parts of the country, $15/ hour is a decent wage.
