Given that 1/3 of working Americans live on less than $15 an hour, taking away food stamp benefits is cruel. The system is increasingly violent in its willingness to squeeze every penny from those who don’t have and pour endless largess onto those who do.

Come down from your little cloud life Ms Williamson. You seem to have overlooked the word extra. Recipients will still receive their allocation of food stamps. They just won't receive the EXTRA amount that was provided for pandemic relief.

Food stamps mean you can sit at home and not work. Not feeling the price of food. Not get angry at the government for making your life harder even though you don't immediately feel it. You also lose them when you start making any money so the incentive to work is taking away, socialism sucks even though it acts like it's virtuous

GOP logic: everyone should have gone to college and run up huge debts that they couldn't pay off to get $18 an hour jobs. You should have been born rich!
