Given that 1/3 of working Americans live on less than $15 an hour, taking away food stamp benefits is cruel. The system is increasingly violent in its willingness to squeeze every penny from those who don’t have and pour endless largess onto those who do.

Stop this vile misuse of language you Leftist nincompoops. Everything you disagree with is not "violent". You are rendering words meaningless with your Marxist, Alinskyite, Orwellian word salads.

More cruel than the inflation programs like this are causing? And, please stop lying about America's safety net. Truth is ours is one of the strongest in the world.

Our public education system teaches nothing about economic nor geopolitical realities. What the hell did folks think would happen when USA endorsed the Military Industrial Complex after sanctions failed and sent billions to Ukraine? The well has run dry.

Let's also address the cruelty of food stamps limiting the range of purchases that citizens can make. By excluding hot or prepared food, food stamps significantly restrict a person's ability to feed themselves. This poses a major problem for homeless individuals or people who live out of their cars, as they lack the resources to heat up their meals. Personally, I believe that transitioning to cash benefits and trusting citizens to use the money to meet their needs is a much more effective and humane solution. This would allow individuals to have greater autonomy in making decisions about their food choices and help to alleviate the stigma that comes with using food stamps.

End of EXTRA benefits. What part of "extra" — Covid era benefits don't you understand? And who in their right mind thinks $15 an hour jobs are a career or a family supporting wage? Minimum wage is for teens, students, young people just starting — that's why it's called "entry level"

It's way, way worse than 1/3rd. 40% of this nation is either unemployed or outside of the workforce. The median income in this nation, after taxes and broken down monthly is 2k. Half this nation makes less than 2k.

I'm running for VP on the Marianne Williamson ticket. Vote for me, an anarcho-capitalist libertarian of the Rothbard school.

If you simply raise the minimum wage ... you will actually help to alleviate ... HOMELESSNESS, POVERTY, AND FOOD INSECURITY ... all at the same time.
