Middle-of-the-road energy and policies, moving further to the right supposedly to pick up more Independents, will not beat the Republicans in 2024. It will only turn off the Democrat's most energetic base, who are seeing their lives and their futures bartered away. To win in 2024, we need the energy of a true American populism, an uprising of conscience and justice that the establishment calls "extreme" for no other reason than that it is "extremely" American - dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, endowed by God with the alienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What is "extreme" are the forces that have *denied* people health care, tuition-free college, free child care, a livable wage, guaranteed sick pay and family leave. Such policy positions are considered *moderate* in every other advanced democracy, and those who call them "extreme" are merely advancing the financial interests of those who would deny them to the people. Time's up. It's time for #ANewBeginning.

Denmark pays for free health care and college with a 20% VAT tax on all transactions. Benefits don't last long if you lose your job. They have mandatory job retraining and push you back to work. Denmark has high home ownership and a very efficient foreclosure process

So let's elect someone who's never held an elected office before because that worked so well the last time.

Being moderate doesn’t go anywhere and we should have learnt that. We’re with you.

I'm a long time Democrat. I will vote for a middle of the road Dem cuz I want Independents and moderate Repubs on the same side. Yes, I want more things for climate change etc but I'd rather have Dem be a President then any Repub. If that means compromise I'm there.
