Middle-of-the-road energy and policies, moving further to the right supposedly to pick up more Independents, will not beat the Republicans in 2024. It will only turn off the Democrat's most energetic base, who are seeing their lives and their futures bartered away. To win in 2024, we need the energy of a true American populism, an uprising of conscience and justice that the establishment calls "extreme" for no other reason than that it is "extremely" American - dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal, endowed by God with the alienable right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What is "extreme" are the forces that have *denied* people health care, tuition-free college, free child care, a livable wage, guaranteed sick pay and family leave. Such policy positions are considered *moderate* in every other advanced democracy, and those who call them "extreme" are merely advancing the financial interests of those who would deny them to the people. Time's up. It's time for #ANewBeginning.

Then you can't run as a Democrat. You should start a new party. I'd call it the #RenaissanceParty

@marwilliamson I hope this means you're willing to run independent if you lose the democratic primary. If not, what the f are you disrupting?

This upcoming primary would be 100% depressing if you weren't running. Thanks for giving us an option to vote for something better.
