Governor Tim Walz of Minnesota signs a law guaranteeing free breakfast and lunch for hungry children, while Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders of Arkansas signs of law easing regulations on child labor. Nobody should think elections don’t matter.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has signed a law guaranteeing free breakfast and lunch for all students in the state, regardless of how much money their parents make. Tens of thousands of food-insecure kids will benefit.

What took Walz so long to do it? Why wasn't it done the first day he was in power? He's a capitalist, meaning he's throwing out a few programs while still enriching his donors. Yes it's better than Huckabee, but has he ended the theft of surplus value or made housing free?

Dear M - Hopefully they will give them the $ 4 the food & force them to responsibly bring it w/ them to buy their food. Anything less is buying votes of tiny ppl 2 young do discern difference. UBI is better than this. It forces $ handling & responsibility. Keep it real.

Marianne the 1968 RFK Campaign was the most radical in US electoral history and it ended in three assassinations by CIA/National Security State: RFK, MLK, and Walter Reuther. What will you do to challenge our utterly unchecked CIA? Without changing that you are lying to

Taxpayers pay for the "free" food. I had my first job at 15. Under the new Arkansas law I wouldn't have to first get permission to work. In the state I lived in I didn't need special permission. Me and all my friends had jobs at that age.

Free lunch on the assembly line! Cleaning chickens is labor intensive: it’s the least MN can do!

I fully support a free breakfast and lunch program.

They do matter. That’s what makes your campaign a terrible joke. You have zero chance of winning yet you want to spend time and money trying to undercut the person who will be on the ballot. Why? Because you’re a miserable narcissistic grifter, that’s why.
