When it comes to helping citizens with student debt, the political class is full of excuses.  When it comes to bail outs for venture capitalists at SVB, there’s no hesitancy at all. We’re simply supposed to accept that a two-tier society is normal. A quick rescue for some, a slow tortured “Maybe we can help you just a little bit” for others. That is the system we must change. #disruptthecorrupt

Reveals as it's been, what we've been challenged to evolve from, systems which advantage the self-selected-few. The point of Democracy is a govt that advantages its Citizens. The point of Capitalism is using competition to advantage innovators. Democratic-Capitalism Will work.

Please talk to all of the employees that would have been without a paycheck unless the administration did what they did and your students signed a legally binding document for those loans.

Higher Education Institutions should refund overcharging for tuition and books.

Don't forget the "life choices" argument? Needing a #Bailout when our "life choices" turn out to be the wrong ones, or when the choice was never ours in the first place is called #Welfare & must end! But when it's criminal billionaires, the #bailouts are then "necessary"!

Say you're not in it for the fundraising, without saying it's for the fundraising. Neither should get a dime.

All depositors at this bank where millionaires??? Depositors are different than debtors. Why only student loans should be forgiven.

The quick rescue was to stop a further run on banks. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Maybe when you people wake up and realize that democracy in this two party two step has been dead since JFK we may get somewhere.

Would love to know your thoughts on the thousands of small businesses that had NO choice but to take unforgivable gov't loans during lockdowns in order to survive. How does one justify student loan forgiveness and not forgiveness of loans for micro/small business?

I agree, don't bail out either.
