The last thing I ever told anyone was that their disease was not real, or that they could simply will it away. At a time before medicine was even available by which to treat the disease, the one thing we could ensure was that no one would have to go through it alone, without food or without love.

At a time in history when people were afraid to even sit at the same table as a person with AIDS, you sat with them, loved them, held their hands, fed their bellies and fed their hearts. It's not your fault that some ppl misunderstand what a truly brave and kind thing you did.

I am deeply grateful for the response this comment got on your page. Thank you to everyone who supports Marianne's early work with the gay community in Los Angeles. The AIDS pandemic was devastating and Marianne's work was a bright Ray of Hope.

I am truly proud of you for your work with gay men during the AIDS pandemic. There are men who died with dignity because of you, and partners who lived with less suffering as a result of your work. Hold your head high on this one, Marianne.

You are lying again, Marianne. Sounding as narcissistic as Trump. A direct quote: “We’re not punished for our sins, but by our sins. Sickness is not a sign of God’s judgment on us, but of our judgment on ourselves *sickness is an illusion and does not actually exist*.”

So what does your form of spirituality say about lying through your teeth, grifter? Or does that change to suit your will as well?

Marianne must have forgotten the 58,000 body bags returning from Vietnam. No more war in the name of my brother.
