Problem is corporations will exploit child labor .

I never have understood why kids can't work? If they want to earn money why not allow them to do so?

What was the proclaimed motivation behind this bill?

What protections?!? You can literally do this already if you get government to sign your permission slip. Instead you need your parents to do it

Its intentional, she knows child labor perpetuates poverty. When children are forced to work instead of attending school, they will not develop the skills & knowledge they need to escape poverty, thus creating a cycle of poverty that is passed down generation to generation.
