This is a concerted effort to freeze environmental and other political activism. It’s also why elections matter. Those judges were either elected or appointed by those who were. We have simply got to show up for this moment in time.

I practice as a public defender in DeKalb. This is a first appearance with a magistrate. They will have a meaningful bond hearing with a superior court judge in a couple of weeks. The outrage is nice, but also know how the system works before Tweeting outrage.
