We made fun of the Republicans for voting however many times in order to elect McCarthy their House leader, but it's as worrisome to me that the Democrats hardly had an election at all. It was just, "Nancy says it's Hakeem, so...." See a pattern here?

Good point, but lost in the 'mist'. If anything, Representatives ought to consider first loyalty to be to the district or state....not to the party.

I think Obama anointed Hakeem to be the minority leader. You do know this is Oama's third term, don't you?

Progressives caved. No effort at all to hold leadership accountable.

That’s why California is in such a sorry state. Zero pushback, zero debate…on anything.

Terrible as she is, Hillary felt like the last Democrat “leader” that seemed to at least be involved in some decision making. The entire party feels like a front now. Who’s actually in charge?

It would be nice to see some democrats start to break ranks on issues like war and reckless spending. I dont understand why influential dems blindly follow along with the MIC and/or the establishment.

And look at that. The Republicans are getting what they wanted holding back their votes.
