We made fun of the Republicans for voting however many times in order to elect McCarthy their House leader, but it's as worrisome to me that the Democrats hardly had an election at all. It was just, "Nancy says it's Hakeem, so...." See a pattern here?

From 2019-2022, Pelosi got 800 bills passed that ALL DIED in the Senate. If you knew ANYTHING about how Congress works, you would know that the Senate is the obstacle to passing bills. If you get the Speaker of your dreams, all those progressive bills will fail in the Senate.

Like she just picked some random off the street. Girl, bye! They trust her leadership, and I'm sure they all know this man enough to trust him.

I like U ☺️. It sucks we have 2 walk a fine line between saying Democrats suck but we have 2 vote for them cuz Republicans R literal demons. When challenging them in primary, I guess we need 2 say corporate Democrats R not real Democrats : they are merely Republicans who act nice

People are so used to backroom deals that democracy looks like disfunction

Is this your platform? How sad…

Yes, it’s a pattern of unity, cohesiveness, and clarity of focus on the party’s platform. The GOP should try it sometime.

You do realize neither party is actually a part of the government. They can pick their leaders however they choose. That is an important part of democracy too. Freedom of association and non-government control of associations.
