We made fun of the Republicans for voting however many times in order to elect McCarthy their House leader, but it's as worrisome to me that the Democrats hardly had an election at all. It was just, "Nancy says it's Hakeem, so...." See a pattern here?

My perception…. Especially after hearing his first speech is the man was highly qualified. And the democrats knew this. Unity is not always suppression. And we don’t know the debated behind closed doors. Where most of the vetting would occur.

That is because we live in an oligarchy. The GOP voted, but it was political theater only. They still “elected” the anointed one.

Criticizing Dem leadership for having a viable, ready bench says nothing about your greatest attributes. Stick to what matters. Hakeem is a great leader.

Pelosi destroyed any compromise on issues in our party by silencing any opinions she didn't agree with. She did more damage to the democrat party than any republican could ever do. And her legacy will be her state of the union tantrum - which is fitting I guess.
