In 1979, President Carter had solar panels installed at the White House. These were later laughed at, derided and removed by officials of Reagan Administration.
i've hated politics/most politicians since I escaped Cuba in '61 at age of 6 after my family's hard-earned livelihoods & properties were demolished by liar Castro. nothing 's changed. my painting, (d)evolution, says it all. luckily, i believe we are headed for a dimension split.
It was way too early for Carter to do that. Those panels would have been a negligible impact for a LONG time....and they'd be wore out before better ones of today existed. It was a waste of money then. Now not as much.
