Ah yes!
The Minnesota House passed a bill last night to guarantee breakfast and lunch for all students in the state, regardless of family income. Gov. Tim Walz indicated he would sign the legislation, and a parallel bill is currently moving through the State Senate.

California started this during the pandemic! It’s saved working parents (like me) MILLIONS of hours and dollars. And the lunches in our state are healthy! Go ahead, hate us, selfish MAGAts and Ayn Rand cultists.

As it should be. Food stamps are about to diminish in 32 states- we are facing a hunger crisis we haven’t faced before. WTF is wrong with a legislature who votes for that?

Just put them in homes and let the state have full control of raising the children.Their parents certainly don’t want any responsibility.School lunches are horrible food, most things the government can’t get rid of.Use your snap dollars and pack a lunch

NEW: Baltimore taxpayers spend $21,000 per student in K-12… - 93% of students are NOT proficient in math. - 23 schools have 0 students proficient in math. ZERO. Our government-run K-12 system is devastating generations of our kids. We desperately need school choice.

It’s about damn time someone thought about the kids. You know how many times I was late because I had to make my own breakfast, ‘cause I didn’t have lunch either? Well, too many. I’d sit in the auditorium listening to all the other kids gorge ‘cause my da was a few $ over poverty

These kinds of policies are wonderful and long overdue.
