Every year 500,000 Americans go bankrupt because of medical bills; 85 million are uninsured or underinsured; & 68,000 die because they can't afford the healthcare they need. Meanwhile the CEO's of the 10 largest health insurance companies make tens of millions of dollars a year.

I think at this stage of human development, the mercantile needs to be removed from the realm of medicine and healing, how callous and savage to use the contrivance of money a regulatory device to determine who lives or dies, as a species we need to remove that blight and shame.

"governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed".... Perhaps it's time to remove our consent. We need a government that works for and answers to the people, NOT corporations. We can do so much better. #FWD #ForwardTogether

The system is broken. No care and no health in health care.

Quantitative easing is readily available when the banks are in trouble and in need of a bailout. What we discovered during the pandemic is that people can also be bailed out by the government without a problem.

It's a huge issue but what the CEOs make is miniscule compared to the cost to fix this. We have the best healthcare in the world and unfortunately it costs lots of money. You get what you pay for.

For profit healthcare is immoral, any other conversation you are part of the problem. Unless you frame the issues correctly your getting retweeted because you convolute the public discourse

I had my own private health care insurance for almost 30 years until Obama and the Dems banned my policy. I haven't been insured since. My policy was far superior to anything offered since. That's why I'll NEVER vote for a Democrat again.

A worldwide health care system may emerge in the next ~10-15 years, which may operate (and handle all patient data) on nested blockchains. Nanomedical devices might be fabricated domestically to address all that ails us, including the disease of aging. linkedin.com/pulse/women-lea…

Sounds like a good reason to abandon the two-party duopoly and vote third party #DemExit
