The choice is clear. You can either vote for republicans who will continue to increase police budgets or you can vote for democrats who will feign solemnity and concern every time someone gets killed by cops and then continue to increase police budgets

The George Floyd Justice in Policing 2021 passed the Dem House, only failed in Senate because Manchin & Sinema wouldn't allow filibuster reform. I know what you mean; even that bill increased funding. But a broad brush on the issue of police reform isn't accurate. GOP MUCH worse.

I'm sick and tired of "GOP MUCH WORSE" politics. I want "Democrats are much better" politics. Dems are always making a fuss about how they're so brave for just holding the line. How about some progressive, bold anf positive moves from the Dems for once?

GOP is much worse about most things but funding the police isn't one of them. A lot of it is under the guise of supporting 'unions'.

Dems have been doing exactly the opposite of what would reduce police violence, and there's a reason for that. Going up against police is politically risky. They don't like doing politically risky things.
